ADMISSION INFORMATION

In order to be admitted to HCMUT, students are recruited by the following ways:

To be admitted to a full-time training program, students have to pass a very difficult Entrance Examination organized once a year.

Currently there are no continuous training programs from college level nor programs for foreign students.

FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION

The Entrance Examination is organized in July every year.

Students must have High School Diploma and have to follow the admission procedures according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Students have to take examinations in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry ( Group A) following High School Program. Students have to write answers to the questions for each subject in 180 minutes.

The Examination Committee will review students’ scores to set the standard scores for each field of training. Students who pass the Entrance Examination will get the Letter of Admission in September. The examination results can be saved in one year.

Students who achieve National Excellent Students or win International Contests in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or IT will be admitted directly without any examination. This selection will be decided by the Ministry of Education and Training. The number must not exceed 15% of the total number for each field of training

Every year HCMUT admits 20 students from the ethnic minority. Currently there are no continuous training programs at college level. HCMUT has not yet admitted foreign students to its training programs.
